Now for the KIT IDEAS by the Design Team using the South Pole kit:
MARIELLE LEBLANC
I went a little crazy on the chipboards on all my
layouts (and they are HEAVY)!! LOL!
You love to play
- Everything on this layouts is from the
kit and from the add-ons- papers and chipboards. The brown alphas are from my
stash.
Cake lover- My sweet little
Felix at 2 loves his cake !!! I could not believe how well this photo went
with these papers!! I again went a little crazy with the chipboards on this
layout !!I cut up the 'Cloudy" papers to make 2 corners and I double matted
everything in the brown cardstock to add a little "pop". The alphas and buttons
are from my own stash. From the add-ons Prima pearls and crystals, Jenni Bowlin mini alphas,Seasons
chipboards and Bo Bunny chipboard "flourish"( from CC
store)
All mine- Everything is from the kit, paper and chipboard add ons
and Kaisercraft pearls(from a previous CC purchase.) These photos of Gabriel
and I were taken on his 4th b-day (doesn't he look like me !! I used
the border of the "cloudy" paper to add as a border at the bottom. The two
flowers on the left are cut out of the paper ,the ones on the right are
chipboard elements.
I'm going to make an other layout with that cloud paper (spring theme) to submit to that French scrapbooking magazine and will share it
later!!

You Are Beautiful
For this layout, I
trimmed a 4x6 print to get this smaller photo of my son, Ryan. He was bald from
chemo and a couple of weeks from his first stem cell transplant. I just loved the add-on Crate
Paper chipboard stickers and used several on this project, layering them with
the CP stickers that came with the kit. The Fancy Pants felt flower is from a CC
kit from about a year or so ago. The Doodlebug alphas are from the CC store. And remember
when MM made those metal alphas? I have a ton of them in several font and pulled
them out to use on this layout. Talk about ancient stash, but I thought they
were a great compliment to the wood grain alphas that came with the
kit.
Shooting the Shoot
These
are pics that we took during my daughter's Senior photo shoot. The photography
studio was kind enough to let us take as many of our own pics as we wanted and
we got a bunch of fun behind-the-scenes sort of shots. These were wallet sized
pics that I trimmed slightly so I could fit five on the 12" strip of white cs.
Chipboard bird is an add-on, the Doodlebug alphas came from the CC store, and
the tiny Adorn-It alphas and button are from my stash.
A Little Dirt Never Hurt
When Daniel Logan was very little, I would
sometimes catch him eating dirt. Why a child would want to eat dirt just
confounds me, but I had to get a picture of it, of course! The blue striped
strip below the photo is the cut-off strip from one of the CP papers. The
scalloped sticker strip at the top is the negative piece from one of the CP
sticker strips. I added a couple of CP chipboard accents, an add-on for this
month. From my stash, I used Adorn-It tiny alphas and Thickers.
I Love You Ryan
My son, a few months after
his first stem cell transplant. His hair grew in very thick and curly. It didn't
stay that way, so photos that show it are especially precious to me. For this
layout, I used several of the CP chipboard accents (an add-on for this month)
and the CP stickers in a collage style, placing them all on one side of the
page. Kaiser pearls are from the CC store, buttons from my stash.
JENNIFER DUBBS
"Camp Cook" This layout uses two very simple design principles. A vertical
& horizontal element to hold my elements and lead your eye around the page;
and the simple rule of "3"...the 3 trees pieced together with pattern paper.
"U Love it!" Using the rule of
"3" again I cut out 3 circles using a fun striped paper. These add movement and
play into the soccer theme of the layout.
"Hot Chocolate" I didn't have enough "O 's" for my title
so looking around my desk I found some chipboard diecuts that could be
substituted for the letters I needed. Think about the shape of the missing
letter and see what you can find on your desk that will work.
