Thank you to Jennifer French for doing the PRODUCT of the WEEK features. This week she highlights the Maya Road mini albums:
I think everyone loves the way a mini album looks, but some struggle with making their own. Maybe you're one of those people. I tend to struggle with what pictures I am going to put in the mini album or what theme to even follow. This week I am going to feature theMaya Road Binder album and give you some examples I found on the internet to help get your creative juices flowing.
MAYA ROAD 5x5 ALBUM with ENVELOPES and MAYA ROAD LONG ALBUM with ENVELOPES
The great thing about this album is that not only does it have pages to alter and add photos to, but it also contains envelopes...perfect for adding keepsakes to your album. Maybe you have a wedding album you would like to make, those envelopes would be great for adding a special card or note from a loved one. Creating an album for your child would be a great way to document his/her life, or your dreams and wishes for him/her. Use those envelopes to add a special note to him/her. Graduation just happend and a lot of kids are going to be heading off to college for their first journey into the real world....a book of advice would be a great thing to give to that freshman college student.
Here are some examples of how fabulous a mini album can look! Here are a couple pages of an inspirational quote book created by Tia Bennett:
This girl themed album was created by Kiesha Campbell. I love how she kept the outside of the album more "naked" and kept a continuing green and pink color theme throughout the album:
Now, a note....these album examples vary slightly from the one I am featuring but I wanted to give you ideas of what you can do with an album. A mini album can be any theme you want....from a vacation, to inspirational quotes to a wedding....it's all up to you. The great thing about the album containing envelopes is that you can include personal journaling or keepsakes with your album.
