Hallo, ladies! It's Saturday and I've planned a whole lot of laziness for today.
I'm gonna hang out in my pajammies, ignore the laundry, and make my husband go get Chinese take-out for dinner. Or maybe some ribs from Dickey's BBQ. Yum!
But before the sloth officially begins, I'm going to share what I created for Lisa's ad challenge. I liked all the ads she chose, but this one was my favorite. I loved the black scrollies with the creamy whites. I also liked all the white space and the clean lines. I looks like a room I'd love to have in my home.
And here's my take on it. I chose the "Jargon" paper from the Basic Grey Basics "Manilla" line as a background, to minic both the color and pattern of the tile. The black decals I recreated with a Prima felt sticker. I stitched the kraft colored backing of the sticker down the left. The colors in my photo were bright red and yellow, so I repeated those colors in the flowers I chose. To recreate the journaling block, I used some ancient Fancy Pants "Fancy Free" tags. Some vintage buttons and red bling finished the page.
Thanks so much for having a look. I hope you've found something here and in Lisa's challenge to spark your imagination, too.
Jaw dropping gorgeous Kim !!!!Bravo !
