Hi everyone, and welcome to another journaling challenge! In honor of February, we're going to write love letters. Love is in the air, right?
I really like journaling in letter format. Dear so-and-so, blah blah blah, Love, Me.
So simple. So fun. Plus, it solves the journaling problem of "who am I writing this for?"
For my first layout, I actually wrote a love letter to a THING, not a person. I have a problem. I love Coca-cola. Way. Too. Much.
So it seemed only fitting that I do a scrapbook layout about it :) I actually wrote this a couple of years ago for my blog, which made my journaling even easier. I just had to edit a wee bit.
I used a piece of the Cosmo Cricket Blackboard album in the Song Birds kit to emphasize my "love" theme and actually made this layout 8x8 - a fun size, just for something different.
This next layout is a more traditional love letter - very sappy! I wrote this letter to my husband, whom I completely adore. The quote from the Fancy Pants paper worked PERFECTLY here!
Alright ready?
The Challenge:
- Create a NEW project or layout using a love letter as your journaling.
The rules:
- Upload the challenge project to the ‘Contests and Challenges' section of the CC Gallery in the Monday's Challenges folder by Sunday, February 27th at midnight PST.
- Include the name of the Challenge ("Love Letters") in your title.
- Post a URL LINK of the project into the thread for the Monday Challenge for that week on the Message Board
You MUST upload to the Monday's Challenges section in the Gallery AND provide a URL LINK on the Message Board for your entry to be valid. Posting the project image in the Message Board thread only does not meet the rules, and won't be counted as an entry. Challenge projects do not need to use a CC Monthly kit, but must be newly created for this challenge. The winner will be announced on Tuesday, March 1st on the CC Blog and CC Message Board.
Have fun!
