Well, hello to all of you once again. I am here today to show you what I did with the Maya Road mini album that was part of the March Party Time kit.
I knew I wanted to make a birthday album for my oldest boy with this kit and got started by cutting the album apart (because it wouldn't close if I added all the stuff I wanted in it !!!) and then I painted the edges with the Jenni Bowlin paint dabber (I got the seed packet (green) color in my kit).
I then cut a variety of cardstock to match the Fancy Pants-It's Your Day papers.(the kit has sold out ,but many of the Fancy Pants papers are still available in the store (I just got some more !!! )
This is the result of adding the kit papers, photos and embellies to this mini album !!! The mini alphas and ribbons (except the red pleated ribbon) are from my stash. I had also gotten a few more of the papers from the add-on collection.
The numbers were cut from the "my day" paper from the kit. As you can see the "age 7 and 8" pages are not completed yet ( I ran out of ink for my printer !! :( ) and I really need to get a bigger book ring for this album,it's rather chunky ! I really loved using the paint dabber on the edges of this little mini, it got a little messy but really fun to use.
Thanks so much for visiting the CC blog today, hope you come back soon !!
What a darling way to remember a child's birthdays! Great idea to cut apart the pages and put them on a ring.

What a beautiful mini-album! I tried doing a mini album once, and it came out alright... But it's quite more challenging than a regular layout!
