This is the most difficult blog post I must write. But here goes:
I must close Coordinates Collections.
Please know this decision was difficult to make because CC has been a major part of my life for over 5 years. I didn't want to let anyone down by no longer offering kits. I didn't want my daily interaction with the CC Community on the Message Board and Facebook to stop. But, in the end, family comes first and I know my decision to close Coordinates Collections is the right one for me and my family at this time.
So, what does this all mean?
--April kits will be the last kits to ship.
--Subscriptions will end with the April kits. Any current prepaid subscriptions will be refunded. Any current subscriptions with a 'free kit' offer will be compensated in product in the CC Store for those free kits since there will be no kits to send after April. Those customers who have prepaid subscriptions and/or the free kits promotion will be contacted by email and/or the invoice with the April kits.
--The CC Store will remain open until all inventory is sold (at least until the end of April). You can still place multiple orders during this time and have them all ship at once later in April to save on shipping costs. And, you never know what discounts/promotions will happen during April!
--The CC Website, Store, Forum and Gallery will remain up until at least the end of April. This way you have time to save any work posted in the Gallery. And, we all want to keep communicating on the Message Board for as long as we can, right!?
--There will be no April sketches, Blog Hop, or Monday's Challenges. There will be no more daily CC Blog posts beginning April 1. There are challenges that end in April, and those winners will still be announced on the CC Blog and Message Board. The CC Blog will also post important information about store sales, markdowns, etc. just not on a daily basis.
--The Design Team will post their April kit projects in the CC Gallery when they have them complete, but there will not be 'kit ideas' posts on the Blog for these projects.
It has been a pleasure to work with fabulous Design Team members, interact with amazing customers, and develop long-lasting friendships the past 5 plus years. Thank you all for helping to make Coordinates Collections a fun 'job' for me!
If you have any questions, please email jamie@coordinatescollections.com.
Thanks for an AMAZING RIDE!
That's such bad news!!! I know you have very strong reasons behind this decision, and I just want to wish you best of luck in your upcoming endeavours. Your club is one of the best around, if not the BEST. Thank you Jamie!

My heart is broken just a little bit! I know that this decision had to be so difficult for you to make! I will miss everything about the site! Thank you Jamie for what you gave us . . . wonderful kits, an awesome site, and amazing inspiration! :)

Well selfishly I am upset because I love the CC kits and community so much. It has been my scrappy home for awhile now. I have never found an online store with better customer service. Any problems or questions gets taken care of very quickly here. I'm very sad to see CC end. :( But I would do the same for my family because in the end they are what matters most. Good luck to you and your family in your next chapter. And if you happen to change your mind (wink) I will be here. :)

The kits have been the best value anywhere, the community supportive and positive, the customer service outstanding. I have learned so much from the talented DT and all of the members who shared their work and their comments. It's been a great 3 years for me, having fun at CC!
I think we all understand and wholeheartedly support your decision to close the business. All good things must come to an end, right? You can be proud of having done a fine job, and giving a lot of happiness to a lot of people for a long time!
Wishing you and your family the best of everything!

Jamie, I'm new to the CC community, but I fell in love while I was here. You truly offered the best customer service I've seen yet and with such a nice community of people. Thank you for all of that. I totally understand family comes first. In the future, you'll look back to this as a fun and exciting experience and glad you did it, I'm sure. In the meantime, you'll have plenty of new and wonderful experiences in the future. Good luck to you and keep your head up and smiling. XOXO :)

I'm sorry to hear that Jamie, but your decision is the one that matters. Thanks for all your great products, website/blog, and most importantly, friendship over the years. We still have Facebook! :)
