The PRODUCT of the WEEK by Jennifer French is the Pink Paislee Amber Road line:

Ok, I know that this collection was the one I was most excited about from CHA-S. There is something about the colors and patterns that just scream at me. I love them!! When I first saw this, my immediate thought was how this collection would look awesome as home decor, pick out 4 pieces that work well and put them in black frames or mount on canvas. Bam! You have a piece of beautiful and inexpensive home decor. Now, as you know, many people have also put this collection to use on some stunning layouts, cards and altered art. Let's check it out!

Product of the Week Catch-up

Time has just gotten away from me the past few weeks and I'm behind on posting the PRODUCT OF THE WEEK....here are the last 3 from Jennifer French:

If you are experiencing the weather I am today you would completely feel that Autumn in here! This Indian Summer collection by Basic Grey offers amazing colors that you would see in the cool Fall sky or Indian Corn hanging on the door of a Fall decorated home. The rich golds, cool pinks and purples offer colors that will set the tone for a perfect Autumn layout or project.

This collection is stunning! I can smell the pumpkin pie see the beautiful sunset on a cool night when I see these papers. Any camping, hayride, or Apple picking pictures would work perfectly with these papers. Enjoy! Share your layouts that you use with this collection!

I am a HUGE fan of the Jillibean Soup Journaling sprouts. They work so well on any layout and with a little creativity, they can be used as other embellishments such as trees. I am so excited that Jillibean Soup has come out with calendars and numbers. Calendars are a big hit, especially when documenting the month or adding into titles, like July 4th or January thaw....these calendar sprouts would be a great way to do that. In addition to the calendars, there are the number sprouts. Gosh, look how perfect these two would go together....month and number sprouts could make Birthday dates, special holiday dates such as....Jan 1, July 4, etc

Most of the time the Product of the Week is either a paper product of some sort of embellishment. This week I was looking in the store and saw a ton of products but then it hit me! I have never done a POW on the Uni Ball Signo White Gel Pen or American Crafts White Gel Pen. These are AWESOME pens to use on your layouts. It is great to use on dark paper to create faux stitching or journal with it. I Just recently used it to doodle along the edges of my paper. This of the intricate doodles you could do with this pen! One thing that I often find myself doing is "savoring" the pen for "just the right layout." Well, guess what...this is one of those "use it or lose it" deals. Just like any pen, the ink will dry up....so use it!! The ease and flow of this pen is amazing. I use my pen so often that I run it out of white ink. I just recently ordered another one from the CC store and am using this one often, too.

Jenni Bowlin Bingo Cards

The PRODUCT OF THE WEEK by Jennifer French:

I was looking in the store and I just keep going back to these Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards. First of all, with school back in session, they are perfect for all of those first day of school photos. The primary colors are perfect and bring back feelings of being in the classroom. The different titles will work great for first bus ride photos, in the classroom for both teacher and student. These bingo cards would even work great for that book worm...both at home and in school. I love how you could mix the book and read bingo cards to create a layout about a love for reading books. Jenni Bowlin also has some birthday Bingo cards. Again, these bingo cards are also in primary colors and would be great on any birthday layout. The words on the bingo cards are also easy enough to overlap onto other cheerful pages.

Maya Road sheer robots

Jennifer French's PRODUCT OF THE WEEK featured Maya Road Sheer Robots!

These Maya Road Robots Mini Sheet set are so "out of this world." They would make for a perfect embellishment to any layout, card or decoration. Maya road sheer products are always perfect and a fun accent. I love they way you can see through them slightly, or decorate with a marker that works on sheer.

Here are some adorable examples on how to use them.  I LOVE how this Maya Raod DT member used these robots as accents on the banner in her layout.

As you can see by these examples, you don't have to use the robots in a robot themed layout or mini album. They just make for perfect embellishments, regardless of the theme.

Bo Bunny Delilah

Jennifer French's Product of the Week review for the Bo Bunny Delilah line:

Hey there Delilah....that song goes through my head whenever I hear the name, Delilah. It's such a pretty, unique and romantic name...as is the Delilah collection by Bo Bunny. I love the Indian Summer colors this collection has. From the chocolate browns to the Autumn Orange and pink. These colors remind me of the Fall sky when nights become cooler.

Fancy Pants Mixed Media Half Bracket Book

I have really been loving a mini album lately. They are a great way to sum up an event, season or trip. Because they have numerous pages, you can use a lot of photos of the same event and create and entire album about it, really focus on it! You don't always have to make an album out of them, though. I have created door hangings and welcome signs out of some of mine. This half bracket album by Fancy Pants is unique in that it contains 3 chipboard sheets, 2 felt sheets, 1 transparent sheet, 2 printed transparent sheets and 3 binder rings. I love that it contains different textures and looks to it.

The 'bracket' album SOLD OUT and Fancy Pants has no more to ship so if you want this album, you better get it NOW!

Here are a couple projects using the album. Notice this first one is a layout created by Cindy Tobey She used the felt half brackets and added them to a layout to give more texture. Love it!

Now, this is a mini album, but as you can tell from these examples there are so many more possibilities. Summer's end is fast approaching, maybe this mini album would be a great way to document your fun summer days. You could also plan ahead and think about all those Fall activities you may want to tell. Either way, this mini album by Fancy Pants is very versatile and sure to please!

My Mind's Eye Andrea Victoria

Jennifer French's PRODUCT of the WEEK review:

The Andrea Victoria line from My Mind's Eye is a very classy, regal and stunning line that is filled with rich, harvest-like colors. The harvest gold, wheat and gray and black would make for a great collection to use for the upcoming Autumn pictures. This collection is also a classy line that is sure to accentuate any family photos.

POW: My Mind's Eye Breaking Free Cowabunga

Jennifer French sasy:  This weeks POW is My Mind's Eye and the Breaking Free Cowabunga collection! With a name like that, it just screams fun and rowdy. I love the ruggedness of this collection with the earthy tones and then the weathered look on the papers to give a distressed look. I love the masculine feel to the papers with the stationwagon patterned paper to the surfboards. Although that is my initial thought when I see this collection, it has a fun feel to it that will go with any theme. This themed collection would work great with all those summer beach layouts. With paper the color of water and sand and patterns with tropical flowers and surfboards, you are bound to have an awesome layout using the collection! Dude!

POW Scenic Route Garden Grove

Jennifer French says:  The Garden Grove Collection by Scenic Route is filled with an assortment of colors that are sure to please any layout, card or mini album. The collection is not gender or holiday specific so it is perfect for any fun layout...from a picnic with family to any outdoor activity, this collection is perfect! I love the colors in this collection and the large circular design on the one patterned paper. That would make for a great background piece of cut into a smaller circle and layer upon it. Scenic Route's colors are always eye pleasing and their paper quality outstanding. Gorgeous layouts are easy to create with any Scenic Route collection, Garden Grove is sure to be one of those!

POW Fancy Pants Kraft Kuts Boy

Jennifer French says:  This weeks Product of the Week is Fancy Pants' Kraft Kuts That Boy. I remember when this collection arrived in the CC store. I immediatly loved the Kraft paper and the awesome shapes to it. I love that this collection is filled with earthy colors and cute boy toys, from cars and trucks to stars and sailboats. I love that boys are so hands on and aren't afraid to dig into dirt. Being a Mom of a girl, I don't have too many dirty days. This collection is just perfect for all those diggin' for worms photos, sandbox days and rough and tough play.
